Here at Kajonkietsuksa, we like to think that we give our students a wealth of choice for their future development. One of the ways in which we do this is to offer our students the opportunity of military training. As it is still a requirement for Thai Nationals (male) to do military service at the age of 20/21, we give them the opportunity to take part during the higher levels of their Secondary (M5/M6) thus alleviating the need for them to do this later and interrupting their studies at university. Its purpose is to inculcate discipline and a nationalist feeling, to have a reserve of trained manpower in case of civil unrest/war and to make up for deficiencies in the defence force during peace time. It also has benefits such as discipline, teamwork and perserverance in addition to getting physically fit through a rigorous training programme.
